The SWP1500-DA48-RC is an inverter that converts a DC voltage from 48V to 230V AC alternating voltage (pure sine wave) and can supply an alternating current and a continuous power of 1500W. This way you always have sufficient 230V alternating voltage available. This inverter is equipped as standard with an LCD display for reading the voltages and power and connection for an external control panel (included). This makes it possible to place an on/off switch on a dashboard, for example. A 230VAC connection block and a European socket type F (Schuko) are also provided. Other sockets are available upon request.
48V pure sine wave inverter
The inverter supplies 230V AC with a pure sine wave, so you are assured that all equipment will work with it.
The 1500W inverter has a wide input range of 40V – 61V DC. Both the input and output voltage can be read on a digital display.
Battery protection
In addition to the display, the input voltage of, for example, a battery is also measured internally. If this voltage becomes too low, the inverter will switch itself off to prevent the battery from becoming too deeply discharged.
If you often think you will completely discharge a battery, it is advisable to switch off the inverter beforehand. You can do this manually, the display will help you with this, or by using a separate deep discharge protection.
In addition, the inverter/converter is protected against excessive load, overvoltage and excessive temperature. If this occurs, the inverter will switch itself off. When the situation returns to normal, the inverter switches on again.
This 48V inverter also offers galvanic isolation between the input and output.
Applications
Inverters/converters are used in situations where alternating voltage is needed, but only direct voltage is available.

- 230V AC mains supply in a vessel or vehicle, such as a (truck) car, camper or forklift
- Power supply on holiday for, for example, a laptop or refrigerator
- Autonomous energy supply
- UPS systems
- Converting sustainable energy generation from solar panels to alternating voltage via a battery
With an inductive application (electric motor, compressor, pump, etc.) you must take a larger starting current into account. We therefore strongly recommend purchasing an inverter that can deliver 3 to 5 times the normal power of the motor.
