The MY500-PS27 is a switched mode power supply (smps), which converts an AC voltage from 230V to 27V (stabilized).
The MY-series power supplies are characterized by a high efficiency, compact size, and an adjustable maximum current in addition to an adjustable voltage.
This allows this power supply unit to be used as a power source, current source, battery charger or as a LED driver. By means of a selector switch this 365W power supply can operate at 230V or 115V AC.

27V DC – 13.5A power supply

This stabilized 27V power supply can supply a direct current of up to 13.5A and a power of 365W.
The output voltage can be set at the front between 0V and 36V and the current between 500mA and 13.5A.
The 27V power supply unit is short-circuit proof and protected against excessive temperature. Due to the wide input range and the wide setting range of the voltage and current, the power supply can be used for many purposes.

Adjustable current source 500mA – 13.5A

In addition to a adjustable voltage source, this switched power supply can also be used as a adjustable current source. The MY500-PS27 has a strict current limit, this way the maximum current can be set precisely with the potentiometer on the front and an Ammeter.

27V Battery charger

If the MY500-PS27 is set to a suitable charging voltage, it can perfectly serve as a constant voltage charger (IU charge characteristic).
This stabilized power supply can remain connected to the battery without risk of overcharging. This is because during charging the charging current slowly decreases as the battery becomes full.

365W LED driver

Because the current is adjustable from 500mA to 13.5A the MY500-PS27 can also be used as a LED driver.
The 27V power supply unit is then used as a constant current LED driver (constant current LED driver).
