12VDC to 24VAC inverter, 120W

The EY150-DA24-M is an inverter that converts a DC voltage from 12V to 24V AC alternating voltage. The inverter can continuously supply a power of 120W, and a peak power of 150W.
This way you always have sufficient 24V AC voltage available.

12V inverter with modified sine wave

The inverter supplies 24V AC with a modified sine wave, which makes the inverter small in size but can still be used for many devices. Only with electric motors (e.g. pumps) does it depend on the motor construction and starting current whether this inverter is suitable for this. Please check this carefully before purchasing.

Battery protection

The 120W inverter has a wide input range of 9.5V – 30V DC. The battery voltage is measured by the inverter to determine and monitor the battery voltage. If this voltage becomes too low, the inverter will switch itself off to prevent the battery from becoming too deeply discharged. This way, terminal damage to the battery can be prevented.
If you often think you will completely discharge a battery, it is advisable to switch off the inverter beforehand. You can use a separate deep discharge protection for this.

In addition, the inverter/converter is protected against excessive load and excessive temperature. If this occurs, the inverter will switch itself off. When the situation returns to normal, the inverter switches on again.

Applications

Inverters/converters are used in situations where alternating voltage is needed, but only direct voltage (battery) is available.

Some application examples are:

• 24V alternating voltage supply in a vessel or vehicle, such as a (truck) car, camper or forklift
• Camera systems
• CCTV security systems
• Gardens

With an inductive application (electric motor, pump, etc.) you must take a larger starting current into account. We therefore strongly recommend purchasing an inverter that can deliver 3 to 5 times the nominal power of the motor.
